A seasoned Coastal-Marine Environmentalist, Andreas specializes in transformative coastal-ocean governance, focusing on blue carbon, regenerative blue economies, and large-scale coastal ecosystem restoration. As co-founder of Blue Carbon Indonesia, he’s led research and initiatives, securing +$12.1 million in grants and collaborating with the World Bank to establish a trust fund. In 2022, Andreas served as Lead Coordinator for the Ocean20 initiative, working with G20 nations to develop sustainable ocean solutions, bridging environmental sustainability and human well-being.
